Have you ever seen a picture that just made you want to take out your suitcase or backpack and head there immediately? Well, here are some pictures of Yosemite that will make you want to go right now!
Pictures Of Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is one of the most gorgeous National Parks out there in my opinion. B and I have been extremely lucky to live in Southern California; only a 6-8 hour drive away. (Depending on traffic!) We have been able to camp inside the park in Yosemite Valley at Housekeeping camp during the summer. During the winter, we were able to rent a yurt about 10 minutes away from the entrance to the park. That was awesome! There was not as much snow as I wanted during March, but it still made for gorgeous pictures. So if you have ever wanted to see pictures of Yosemite during summer or winter, take a look! Read this blog post about how we saw Yosemite Valley in only 3 days!
One of my favorite pictures of Yosemite to capture is the waterfalls! During the early summer they are roaring with melted snow and rain. During the winter, they are partially frozen and calm. It makes for wonderful pictures. I could sit and stare at those waterfalls all day!
Pictures of Yosemite wouldn’t be complete if you didn’t capture some wildlife! We have seen bears, deer, coyotes and many types of birds! The deer are the easiest to spot! Taking a picture of a bear is more difficult since they mostly come out at night. However, we have spotted them while camping here. They are out there for sure!
The Majestic Half Dome
Other Pictures of Yosemite
There are so many different places to explore and trails to hike in Yosemite National Park. Mirror Lake is an awesome seasonal lake and is a short hike from the Valley floor. I love my Yosemite coffee cup! It describes me perfectly. Hiking up all the different trails around Yosemite is a great way to see amazing views of popular sites. You can see Half Dome from tons of different perspectives. And, it is still majestic every time!
You can’t ever get enough of Yosemite waterfalls!
